6:45 AM – Rise and Shine
The day starts early. I wake up, shake off the sleep, and get ready for work. A good breakfast is a must—fuel for the day ahead. I also pack my lunch because, let’s be honest, eating out every day isn’t great for the wallet or the waistline.
7.30 AM – Commute
Time to hit the road! The drive to the client’s site is a perfect chance to wake up properly, with some good music or a podcast to set the tone for the day.
8.00 AM
I arrive at the client’s office and get settled in. First order of business: checking emails from the client, suppliers, and any other stakeholders. A few quick replies later, and the inbox is under control—at least for now.
9.00 AM
A quick check-in with my manager to align on priorities. We go over key deliverables, outstanding tasks, and any roadblocks we need to clear.
9.30 AM
Time to dive into some deep work. Today I am working on procurement tasks—contacting suppliers for quotes and updating documentation. It’s all about ensuring the client has what they need, when they need it, without unnecessary delays or costs.
12.00 PM
Time for a well-earned lunch break to refuel. Since I bring my own lunch, I can eat quickly and avoid long lines at the café.
12.15 PM – Back at It
Now, it’s time to focus on developing training materials for the client. Clear, effective documentation makes a huge difference in ensuring smooth operations, so attention to detail is key here.
2.00 PM – Client Meeting
A key meeting with the client to review process documentation. We’re looking for any gaps in the process that we have not already documented and that need to be closed.
3.30 PM – Powering Through
Back to the desk to implement changes from the meeting, wrap up tasks, and keep things moving forward. This is the final stretch of the day, so it’s all about staying focused and productive.
5.30 PM – Wrapping Up & Heading Home
After a solid day’s work, it’s time to head home. The drive back is a good time to reflect on what went well, what needs to be tackled tomorrow, and unwind with some more good tunes. Then, it’s time to rest up and do it all again!
