About the opportunity

Our Corporate Graduate Program is a unique and exciting early careers pathway dedicated to providing meaningful work, growth and security. Our graduates will receive tailored mentoring and support whilst gaining exposure through rotations across a range of departments prior to settling in a specific area at the end of the Program. 

We are seeking Project Management Graduates who have recently completed an Undergraduate Degree along with a general understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks.

This is a structured 2-year program which will commence in January 2025. We have multiple opportunities in Osborne, South Australia and Henderson, Western Australia. This program offers outstanding individuals the opportunity to 

  • Solidify their project management career with a leading defence organisation.
  • Be exposed to various business units within ASC such as Finance, Commercial, Engineering, Program Delivery, Capital Acquisition, Forward Planning, PMO, Supply Chain, Submarine Certification, Quality, WHSE, Production Planning and Operations Services.
  • Take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion.
  • Learn and develop new skills and knowledge to enhance capability.
  • Plan and develop schedules for various business programs.
  • Conduct cost performance analysis and treatment strategies.
  • Develop expertise in managing project risk, including mitigation and opportunity realisation actions. 
  • Collaborate with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Apply principles learnt to problem solving.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
