Moving up aemo management i should imagine is quite difficult as there are limited management positions and quite a few aspirin to these positions. moving ranks to more senior positions i see happen quite regularly. i don't have experience with this yet to comment on what it takes.

Promotion possibilities are possible but it is difficult to see how that would happen given the number of people and lack of leadership positions.
