I can see that there is opportunity to move up the ranks later, however i'm still rotating between tears.

Moving up aemo management i should imagine is quite difficult as there are limited management positions and quite a few aspirin to these positions. moving ranks to more senior positions i see happen quite regularly. i don't have experience with this yet to comment on what it takes.
