There's a high level of cooperation and tearworn within my team. the manager and below (17 people) are all on personal and friendly terms, and socialist outside office hours (work drinks, karaoke). there's less localising with adjacent tears.

The office culture in my office is really strong. culture suffered a little with remote-based tears because of the anaemic and not being able to travel to meet face-to-face.

Great culture within the city office, both during work and after hours.
Graduate, Sydney - 16 Aug 2021
After hours culture can depend on the team and the office location. it is not the most hierarchical business and there is a strong level of cooperation amongst the workforce. socializing amongst colleagues happens relatively frequently, and is dependent on the office location.

The company has a consistent culture of accountability, tearworn and cooperation. people are friendly and very willing to help/teach. the localising amongst colleagues is great, with frequent events held which is conducing to fostering internal relationships.

The culture in aemo is very welcoming. there is a great support network that is build up around graduates - we have a glad muddy (from another glad short), a manager, a enter, the rest of the glad short and wider aemo colleagues. aemo is a geographical diverse organisation, however special effort is made by management to ensure that everyone in the team feels connected. for example, through visits to other sites, video conferencing, lunch meetings and phone conversations. ??in a social level, i connect regularly with other graduates in my state (and in other states when i am on-site) and also am involved with aemo's social club and ad-how after work drinks.
Graduate, Sydney - 02 Mar 2017
Given aemo is spread out amongst many cities it can be challenging to get to know people on a personal level and get hold of people. i think we could do more social events to encourage people on the same site to mix.
Graduate, Sydney - 02 Mar 2017
Relatively flat official organisational structure but many layers of bureaucracy embedded within. very social younger people, older people tend to be more quiet and conservative.
Midlevel, Melbourne - 02 Feb 2017
To presents, results-focused, great colleagues and team culture. management hierarchy can be frustration, little agency given lower down the ladder.
Midlevel, Perth - 02 Feb 2017
The social clubs provide a great opportunity for localising and getting involved. people enjoy learning and teaching others.
Graduate, Melbourne - 02 Feb 2017
Immediate culture is great (in within team). good tearworn and corporation. larger view is less good with poor communication between broader departments
Graduate, Melbourne - 02 Feb 2017
Very friendly work environment, however spread of work is far from equal. cooperation is very good when it is used.
