Graduate and Internships Information Evenings - Investments

We are delighted to invite you to our virtual Investments Graduate and Intern Information Evening on the 27th of July to gain further insights and understanding of life at AustralianSuper.

AustralianSuper Internships

Running for 10-12 weeks from December to February, AustralianSuper internships offer participants unrivalled exposure to our award-winning teams, with the opportunity to work on real world projects and initiatives, whilst gaining exposure to senior business leaders.

We have two internship streams:

• Our Fund-wide internships partner participants with our member growth and experience teams, who passionately engage, service and grow the Fund’s membership, or the enterprise teams who expertly enable the efficient running of the Fund, including our technology, data, risk, and strategy functions.
• Our Investments internships immerse participants into what is fast becoming one of the world’s largest active fund managers. As part of our global platform, you’ll be able to work with and learn from our equities, private markets, fixed income or asset allocation and research teams.

Successful completion of our internship program can lead to an offer to join our two-year, rotation-based graduate program.

AustralianSuper Graduate Program

Like our internships, our graduate program has a Fund-wide stream and an Investments stream, both providing graduates with the opportunity to rotate through a number of teams across a 24-month journey.

During your rotations you will participate in various development opportunities that will build the required skills and capabilities that will set you up for a successful career far beyond the graduate experience.

• The Fund-wide stream incorporates three rotations (two core and one elective), providing you with the opportunity to further explore your interests and expertise. Rotations are currently offered across Finance, Operations, Risk, Strategy, Project Delivery, Brand, Technology, Member and Corporate Affairs. Following the completion of the Fund-wide Graduate Program, you will continue your AustralianSuper journey in an on-going permanent role.
• The Investments stream incorporates two rotations with graduates spending time with different asset class teams (this may include equities, infrastructure, fixed income assets and property). After the completion of the Investments Graduate Program, you will continue your AustralianSuper journey as an Analyst within one of the Investment teams.

What to expect

On each evening, you can expect to hear from respective Senior Leaders, our current Graduate cohorts, and the Early Careers team.

We will be providing an overview on what is included within an internship or graduate role at AustralianSuper, the recruitment process, and a view into some of our award-winning teams you could be placed in.

Time permitting, we will hold a brief Q&A for any questions that might arise through the session.
