Progress powered by purpose.
Asset management, excel modelling, preparing presentations, writing board papers, engaging with external stakeholders
Most of my role is just project work. Completing my list of tasks such as creating a dashboard or undertaking a quality review. I tend to work on big projects and am then delegated little tasks to help with the project and to develop my own technical skills.
My enjoyment of work depends on the rotation I'm currently working in. Some rotations have an abundance of meaningful work for me to do, however, other rotations do not have enough work for me to do.

AustralianSuper is for everyday Australians and businesses; they help invest members’ money to create the best possible retirement outcomes.
The culture is really good. I feel a strong sense of purpose working here.
The Fund is very supportive of your development, putting in the effort to facilitate experiences and opportunities which align with your goals.
The company is generally very flexible with work hours. It is strongly encouraged to come in around an average of at least 2 days each work to the office.
Great to have a graduate cohort to work with... flexible workplace... can work from home a few days a week.
Everyone is very helpful, especially with helping graduates. There are many great teams to try and learn new skills and develop both technical and soft skills.
I often experience some idle time as a graduate when waiting for more work to complete.
As a graduate, it is sometimes hard to get substantial work... rotating through many different teams means you are not in one place for long enough to get substantial work.
There is a bunch of 'development' sessions... these are all soft skills that most of us have developed prior to this program.
Bureaucracy and a tendency to run processes in a way that may be outdated but maintain status quo.
Sometimes teams are middle-to-senior manager heavy and junior staff don't get much support from colleagues to bridge the skills gap, therefore higher expectations to get ahead/up the learning curve faster than normal.
