The Role

This role is part of a central team of Data Quality Analysts with varying years and levels of experience.  The Data Quality Analyst role is flexible.  All Data Quality Analysts are exposed to, and trained, in all aspects of data quality management.  However, individuals may specialise, and focus based on their interests, skills, experience and development aspirations.

Responsibilities

Support Data Owners and Data Stewards: 

  • Manage the centralised data integrity mailbox.
  • Perform data entry for core systems e.g. APS/CRM.
  • Perform data issues investigation, remediation and data cleansing.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Data Quality
  • Management Plans and data quality reporting.
  • Assist with data quality training and awareness.

Qualifications, experience and skills required:

  • Has up to 2-years’ experience in a data-entry or office administration role.
  • Can develop rapport all levels.
  • Can prioritise and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Is a self-starter and can work with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Has an enquiring mind and enjoys problem solving and analysis.
  • Has excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must have high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A tertiary qualification in business or administration is not essential but will be looked up favourably. 

Key performance indicators:

  • Deliver assigned tasks and work packages in accordance with the Data Strategy and Roadmap.
  • Meet team and personal goals set in annual Career & Development Plan.

Pros

  • The culture in and out of the office is great.

  • My colleagues are always willing to get out of their way to help me.

  • Never any pressure to stay late.

  • The training is great, I have learned a lot in my time here.

Cons

    • Pay is relatively low, however this is industry-wide.

    • The graduate program doesn't rotate us through all the service lines.

    • Some managers are great and give constructive feedback. Others do not provide you with proper instructions.

    • Dishwashers are small... toilets are not flushed... desk are most of the time dirty.

    • Could include more women, however this is the industry.
