Support compliance management at Plant Spartanburg, fostering a dynamic learning environment.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support regular reporting of Compliance Status.
  • Oversee the implementation of the Compliance Awareness program, creating new material as needed.
  • Support Privacy Impact Assessments and Information Classifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Support the Annual Compliance Risk Assessment for Plant Spartanburg.
  • Reboot the Information Protection Management System at Plant Spartanburg.
  • Benchmark Compliance homepages throughout the BMW Group and integrate best practices into Plant Spartanburg’s site.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An interest in and appreciation for legal systems and regulatory/policy frameworks.
  • A high level of ethical standards and integrity.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong reading comprehension and writing abilities.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of people in the company.
  • Familiarity with cyber security topics and concepts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at the time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from the current university.
  • Must attach a copy of unofficial transcript.
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
