Your Role:
Key responsibilities as follows:
- Assist the ConDC Packaging Planning Team in enforcing BMW Aftersales packaging and labeling requirements.
- Review supplier Packaging Data Sheets and create CPP Agreements.
- Conduct onsite visits to Aftersales suppliers and packaging vendors.
- Support New Parts and PrePack teams by resolving supplier packaging deviations.
- Develop new packaging concepts and conduct part fit and quality checks/tests.
- Evaluate documentation for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Optimize legacy packaging agreements for cost and volume savings.
- Review and optimize in-house packaging for Packaging Tender.
- Optimize CMS cage tracking and conduct sustainability analysis.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
About You:
Ideal candidates will have:
- Pursuing a BS (3rd or 4th year) in Packaging Science.
- Proficiency in Office applications.
- Basic understanding of packaging design and sustainability factors.
- Experience with CAD, 3D modeling, and Adobe Design Suite is a plus.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at the time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from the current university.
- Must attach a copy of an unofficial transcript.
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
- Work term dates: May 19th – August 8th, 2025.
