Your Role

This Dealer Engagement & Experience Training Intern will have the opportunity for hands-on logistical and marketing experience supporting several areas of BMW’s dealer programs specifically in the areas of technician retention and employer branding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organizing logistics for BMW’s Technician Race Crew Program by creating dealer-facing program communications and collecting candidate nominations from dealers, compiling into easy-to-review spreadsheets, coordinating event logistics, preparing shipments, and conducting periodic surveys of the program with participating dealers.
  • Assist with technician recognition programs and updates to the technician recognition flow pages.
  • Deep knowledge of social media channels such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok in order to monitor communications on their Social Media Channels with Sprout Social and review post recommendations to increase dialog and engagement with the audience.  
  • Assisting with website content updates as needed and tracking the status of approvals, releases, and rosters.
  • Help support the team and the dealers in the effort to recruit and retain high-quality talent. 

About You

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program at an accredited college or university
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
  • Have completed at least 30 college credit hours at the time of application (year 3 or 4)
  • Field of Study: Marketing, Business Administration
  • Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript
  • Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week)
  • Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international J1 students only)
  • Interest in Training and/or Employee Engagement
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Excellent time-management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
  • Self-motivated, adaptable to a dynamic environment
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the hierarchy
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Some domestic travel is required.

Compensation & Benefits

The hourly rate for undergraduate students is $25.30, while the hourly rate for graduate students is $32.20. If you join as a full-time employee, you will get the following benefits:

Training, Development & Rotation

This is a full-time internship position for their Fall Rotation, from August 12, 2024, through December 20, 2024, in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.

Furthermore, you will not only get insights into different projects and working processes, but you will also self-evidently be a fully integrated team member.
