Your Role:

Key responsibilities as follows:

  • Support launch and change coordinators with engineering changes.
  • Contribute to Test Car BOM validation to ensure correct parts are used.
  • Assist in coordinating Line Trials for testing new parts in production.
  • Generate and maintain reports, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Focus on efficiency improvements and data accuracy in major projects.
  • Implement solutions to enhance process efficiency.
  • Conduct process mapping exercises and create content overviews for vehicle modules.
  • Facilitate workshops to identify process improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

About You:

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Pursuing a BS or Graduate Degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Management, Operations Management, MIS, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Office Suite.
  • Strong computer aptitude and ability to learn BMW Group systems.
  • Project management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative.
  • Preferred skills in VBA (or Python) and JAVA.
  • Knowledge or experience in manufacturing processes and workflows is preferred.
  • German language skills are a plus.
  • Commitment to three co-op rotations as an enrolled student.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S.
  • Completion of at least 30 credit hours at the time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from the current university.
  • Must attach a copy of the unofficial transcript.
  • Completion and passing of a substance abuse test before the work term.
  • Work term dates are May 19th – August 8th, 2025.
