Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging in new product content and collaborative department work.
  • Supporting launch and change coordinators with bill of material and demand logic changes.
  • Leading process improvement projects and optimizing data analytical systems.
  • Contributing to Test Car BOM validation and coordinating Line Trials.
  • Generating and maintaining reports, supporting communication and topic resolution.
  • Implementing solutions to improve process efficiency and completing process mapping exercises.
  • Creating content overview for different vehicle modules.
  • Gaining an understanding of BMW's design change processes and exposure to business partner processes.

About You:

Candidates should possess:

  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S.
  • Completion of at least 30 credit hours at the time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
  • A GPA from the current university for transfer students.
  • Pursuing a BS or Graduate Degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Management, Operations Management, MIS, Computer Science, or other relevant degrees.
  • Must attach a copy of unofficial transcript.
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
