Your role

This is a full-time internship position for their Summer Rotation, from June 3, 2024, through early December 2024 in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.

This intern will provide support to the Executive Assistant to the Executive VP of Finance & CFO as well as the Executive VP of Operations.

Some numerous projects and tasks are included in this exciting role, for candidates interested in administrative tasks, as well as company policy. This unique role provides access and support to all levels of management at BMW NA, and aboard!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Record retention set-up
  • Create PowerPoint presentations
  • Support townhall arrangements as necessary
  • Responsible for travel arrangements and scheduling meetings
  • Process improvements by company policy
  • Ad hoc day-to-day support

Training, development & rotation

As an intern at BMW NA, throughout the internship, you will gain valuable experience in administrative tasks and company policy implementation. You will learn to facilitate record retention, create impactful PowerPoint presentations, coordinate town hall arrangements, manage travel logistics, and contribute to process improvements, all while supporting executives at various levels.

Salary & benefits

The hourly rate for undergraduate students is $25.30, while the hourly rate for graduate students is $32.20.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program at an accredited college or university.
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
  • Have completed at least 30 college credit hours at the time of application.
  • Field of study is Business, Marketing, or other related field.
  • Must attach a copy of the college's unofficial transcript.
  • Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week).
  • Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international J1 students only).
  • Detail-oriented while able to handle multiple projects at once.
  • Adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferences:

  • Basic administrative skills/experience is a plus.
