Your role
The intern will support the Experiential Marketing Department in the definition, planning, execution and reporting of events across multiple fields (sports marketing, driving programs, arts and culture, internal events and conferences).
Key responsibilities:
Supporting the experiential marketing team in all possible stages of event planning (e.g. defining event content, location and dates, liaising with agency partners, reviewing creative, analyzing offers, creating purchase orders, etc.)
Supporting the experiential marketing team on several projects across the department, including reporting post-event, vehicle loaner agreement preparation and circulation, evaluation of partnership proposals, etc.
Being responsible for own projects including discussions with internal business partners as well as external service providers, agencies and customers.
Research and data analysis (i.e. KPI trends and evolution YOY, competitor analysis across various experiential fields, etc.)
Creating and maintaining purchase orders and purchasing processes in SAP and web-based IT solutions.
About you
Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program at an accredited college or university.
Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
Have completed at least 30 college credit hours at the time of application.
Field of Study: Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
Must attach a copy of your unofficial college transcript.
Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week)
Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international J1 students only)
Computer skills in Microsoft products including Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Excellent time-management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Self-motivated, and adaptable to a dynamic environment.
Preferences:
Knowledge of SAP.
Compensation & benefits
The pay rate for undergraduate students will be $25.30 per hour.

This is a full-time internship position for their Fall Rotation, from September 9, 2024, through December 20, 2024, in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.
