Your role
The qualified co-op should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:
Financial Data Analysis.
Forecasting & Monthly Reporting.
Creation of Management Presentations.
Further development of financial reporting tools.
Facilitates team meetings.
Maintain Financial intranet site and communication.
Implement efficiencies and digitalization with current financial processes.
Create training & process documentation.
Develop tools used for reporting and maintaining system applications for financial metrics and data (MS Applications, Oracle, PowerBI, APEX, …)
Training, development & rotation
This is a co-op position which requires three alternating rotations (e. g. 1st rotation: spring, 2nd rotation: fall, 3rd rotation: summer).
Support Finance team initiatives and key department objectives.
Work within the International Regional Financial Steering Department of Region Americas to learn BMW financial processes to help steer the organization, and drive efficiencies and cost-saving measures.

About you
Skills that will help you succeed in this role:
Pursuing a degree in Finance/Business/Accounting is preferred.
Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
Team player
Ability to communicate to multiple levels of management
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent Microsoft Products skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in PowerBI, QlikSense and/or Tableau (preferred)
Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
Have full-time status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
Completed at least 30 credit hours at the time of application.
Ability to complete 3 alternating work terms for co-op positions.
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week).
Transfer students must have a GPA from their current university.
Must attach a copy of the unofficial transcript.
Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
The work term dates are August 12th-December 13th, 2024.
