Your Role:
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting processes for production control and financial steering to improve data gathering, reporting, and cost efficiency tracking.
- Creating financial reports for Body Shop management to aid in planning and target setting.
- Participating in cross-functional discussions to gather data source information and identify automation opportunities.
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends, root causes, and propose cost reduction measures.
- Supporting inner-year month-end activities and long-range financial planning.
- Analyzing historical financial data to identify trends and improvement measures.
- Creating automated reporting tools in Power BI for tracking key budget categories and headcount.
- Developing forecast and target templates for future planning activities.
- Creating Power BI reports to monitor financial trends and respond to negative trends.
- Collaborating with other steering functions to standardize financial reporting.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A focus on financial business, business-related, or production control discipline.
- Good communication skills.
- Enhanced computer skills (MS Office Applications) and willingness to learn new systems like Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage large data sets.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours at the time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
- A GPA from the current university for transfer students.
- A copy of an unofficial transcript.
- Completion and passing of a substance abuse test before the work term.
