Engage in dynamic learning and practical experiences at BMW's Production Control Department, contributing to strategic volume planning and process optimization.
Your Role:
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the Production Control Department's long-term, short-term, and daily production volume steering.
- Supporting strategic volume planning and reporting to Senior Management.
- Sequencing customer orders and driving the master production sequence.
- Developing production strategies and managing vehicle sequences for on-time delivery.
- Leading and supporting continuous improvement projects within the department.
- Coordinating cross-departmental improvement projects with diverse technologies.
- Developing data analysis tools for process management and reporting.
- Engaging with interdisciplinary teams to understand business operations and supply chain intricacies.
- Generating and presenting KPI reports to guide Plant management decisions.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Project management, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Logistics, Management, Engineering, Finance, Data analytics skills.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on the US grading scale.
- Enrollment at a university outside of the United States.
- Completion of a prior BMW internship of at least 3 months.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
- Completion and passing of a substance abuse test before the work term.
- Work term availability from September 22, 2025, to March 06, 2026.
