Your Role:
Key responsibilities as follows:
- Support Launch and Change Coordinators with engineering changes.
- Create, manage, and validate component overviews for car parts.
- Contribute to Test Car BOM validation for design changes.
- Support coordination of Line Trials for new parts testing.
- Investigate design topics through data analysis.
- Generate and maintain reports.
- Focus on efficiency improvements and data accuracy.
- Implement solutions to enhance process efficiency.
- Conduct process mapping exercises.
- Create content overviews for vehicle modules.
- Facilitate workshops to identify process improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
About You:
Ideal candidates will have:
- Pursuing a BS or Graduate Degree in relevant fields like Industrial Engineering or Computer Science.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Office Suite.
- Strong computer aptitude, including SAP and SQL.
- Project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and show initiative.
- VBA (or Python) and JAVA skills are helpful.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes is beneficial.
- German language skills are a plus.
- Commitment to three co-op rotations as an enrolled student.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Enrolled student status at an accredited U.S. college or university.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours at the time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
- Must attach a copy of unofficial transcript.
- Completion and passing of a substance abuse test before the work term.
