Engage in dynamic learning at BMW, supporting launch and change coordination with hands-on projects.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Exposure to new product content and collaborative department work.
  • Develop the candidate to lead their own project if possible.
  • Support launch and change coordinators with bill of material and demand logic changes.
  • Develop and optimize data analytical systems for process improvement.
  • Create, manage, and validate component overviews for car parts.
  • Contribute to Test Car BOM validation and coordinate Line Trials.
  • Support the coordination of Line Trials, where new parts are physically tested in the production environment.
  • Investigate design topics through data analysis.

About You:

Candidates should possess:

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Enrolled student status at an accredited U.S. college or university.
  • Completion of at least 30 credit hours.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from the current university.
  • Must attach a copy of unofficial transcript.
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
  • Work term dates: August 11th – December 12th, 2025.
  • MS Excel and Office Suite knowledge.
  • Strong computer aptitude (BMW Group systems, SAP, SQL).
  • Project Management, Planning, and Organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative.
  • VBA (or Python) and JAVA skills preferred.
  • Knowledge or experience of manufacturing processes and workflows preferred.
  • German language is a plus.
