Internship opportunity in logistics process engineering, focusing on practical experience and dynamic learning.
Your Role:
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting PSP (material flow-logistic process engineering) by analyzing, creating, and implementing projects to meet cost and efficiency targets.
- Improving logistics performance through efficiency and process improvement.
- Introducing efficiency projects to reduce costs, including quality and safety improvements.
- Supporting logistics KPIs analysis and vendor requests.
- Assisting TX-160 Team Members on safety and finance topics.
- Collaborating with a PSP in logistics areas for process improvement projects.
- Working with process partners in Physical Logistics and Planning, and outside vendors.
- Collecting and analyzing data for warehouse processes using SAP and other BMW systems.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours at the time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
- A degree focus on logistics, process improvement, and data analysis in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
- Skills in data collection and analysis using advanced Excel formulas.
- Problem-solving methods for process analysis and project management.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in team/individual environments.
- Preferably previous internship or work experience in a manufacturing environment.
