Internship in supply chain operations focusing on material control, transportation, and delivery assurance.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring missing parts related to past due and internal process errors.
  • Mapping and documenting International Logistics processes.
  • Reporting daily on shipping accuracy.
  • Collaborating with air and sea freight carriers to improve reporting and KPIs.
  • Cooperating with the launch team to map shared processes and document improvements.
  • Analyzing material flow and setting parameters for overseas plants.
  • Supporting process descriptions and reviewing service-level agreements.
  • Analyzing and visualizing recurring issues of missed shipments.
  • Monitoring issues related to short shipments and parts in backlog.
  • Communicating with BMW Consolidated Services for on-time delivery.
  • Managing smart containers, KPI dashboards, data analytics, and visualization.
  • Engaging in sustainability projects, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You:

The ideal candidate will:

  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Be enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S.
  • Have completed at least 30 credit hours at the time of application.
  • Be able to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
  • Be a transfer student with a GPA from the current university.
  • Attach a copy of an unofficial transcript.
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
  • Be available for the work term from August 11th to December 12th, 2025.
  • Have completed or be pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and technical skills, with experience in Power BI, SQL, and Data Lake as a bonus.
