Your Role:
Key responsibilities as follows:
- Collaborate with the Packaging Planning Team to support daily activities and improve existing products.
- Assist BMW Packaging Planners in analyzing packaging concepts for future models.
- Contribute to the 3D-Print Lab by creating and processing models.
- Analyze existing packaging for optimizations to reduce environmental impact and logistics costs.
- Provide general support for packaging modifications and identification projects.
- Support the Additive Manufacturing team with 3D Print projects.
- Moderate Packaging Planning Meetings and promote AM services within the plant.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A background in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Supply Chain/Logistics.
- Preferred knowledge of SAP, German and/or Spanish language skills, and logistics.
- Familiarity with Additive Manufacturing.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and enrolled student status at an accredited U.S. college or university.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours by the time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
- A GPA from the current university for transfer students.
- Must attach a copy of an unofficial transcript.
- Ability to complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
