Your role
Job Description:
Improve logistics innovation with Business Case Realization (Cost / Benefit Justification).
Impact Digitalization of Logistics with AI, BI, and Data Analytics (IT configurable).
The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:
Find and implement solutions for more effective processes in TX-16 Physical Logistics.
Work with Plant (Hall 50 & Hall 52) along with Warehouse Functions (LC01 & LC05).
Improve Daily Operations including Processes, Training, Tools, and Digitalization.
Implement solutions with IT including SAP and Android TC-57 / ProGlove devices / AR / VR.
Lead Electronic Board and Data Transparency, Usage of Statistics, and Problem Solving.
Work with Teams to determine process improvements.
Improvement of specific processes working with IT to develop SAP Programming.
Implement storage solutions with electronic devices (possibly Geofencing).
Strategic Application of RFID and Readers.
Evaluate non-SAP IT Solutions.
About you
Qualifications:
Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or IT Degree preferred.
Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
Have full-time status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
Completed at least 30 credit hours at the time of application.
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week).
Transfer students must have a GPA from their current university.
Must attach a copy of an unofficial transcript.
Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
The work term dates are (January 13th - May 16th, 2025).
