Engage in dynamic learning with hands-on responsibilities in project management and parts integration at BMW.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support the Parts Integration Specialist (IPT) and Project Manager with launch activities for Plant 10 Projects.
  • Maintain milestone plans, content overviews, and planning documents for project launches.
  • Generate parts integration status presentations regularly.
  • Arrange and lead multi-department project meetings, supporting topic resolution.
  • Gain knowledge of BMW product launches and the vehicle development process.
  • Collaborate with process partners across BMW Group locations.
  • Develop applications to evaluate launch data effectively.
  • Lead cross-departmental meetings and steer issues effectively.
  • Understand the meeting landscape and purpose.
  • Develop analytical and process-oriented thinking.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at the time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
  • A GPA from the current university for transfer students.
  • Ability to pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
  • Enrollment in Industrial Engineering, Data/Business Analytics, Logistics/Operations Management, Business, or International Business.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel/PowerPoint, and preferred experience in Power BI.
  • Preferred programming experience (VBA, Matlab, R, Python, SQL, etc.).
  • Planning and organizational skills.
  • Initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Effective and professional communication skills.
