Support recruiting initiatives, including DEI and Military Veteran Hiring, at BMW.
Your Role:
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting new and ongoing recruiting department initiatives, including DEI, Military Veteran Hiring, and the BMW Legacy Program.
- Providing administrative support, event planning, project management, materials design, research/analysis, process documentation, tracking, and reporting.
- Coordinating and managing parts of the Military Veteran Hiring Initiatives program.
- Providing administrative support for process documentation, data analytics reporting, creating PowerPoint presentations, and responding to correspondence and phone calls.
- Participating in new hire onboarding, creating and archiving files, and general administrative support.
- Conducting research and conceptualizing new ideas.
- Supporting project management and coordination of plans for related projects.
- Coordinating and supporting focused, community-based events and initiatives.
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting information to evaluate landscape against business strategies.
- Staying abreast of best practices and recommending relevant initiatives.
- Providing regular input on enhancing processes and practices.
- Supporting the organization’s vision, strategy, priorities, and roadmap.
- Partnering with stakeholders to enable successful prioritization, development, delivery, and adoption of program goals.
- Creating PowerPoint slide decks for presentations and supporting preparation for meetings.
- Participating in project team meetings.
- Providing general administrative support.
- Scheduling use of meeting room facilities as needed.
- Performing other administrative duties and special projects as assigned by project team members.
About You:
The qualified candidate should have:
- Working towards a Master's or 4-year degree.
- Detail-oriented skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Microsoft Office skills, especially advanced level MS Excel (graphs, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, spreadsheets, calculations, and automation).
- Effective communication skills.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at the time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from the current university.
- Must attach a copy of an unofficial transcript.
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
- The work term dates are August 11th-December 12th, 2025.
