Supplier Management Intern (Jan 2025)

Your role

Job Description:

• The Intern will be responsible for supporting Operational Leads and Supplier Management Specialists with projects, reporting, and additional tasks.

The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:

• Reporting- Conducts data processing in SAP i.e. running weekly and daily parts availability reports.
• Support and implement supplier interface.
• Training Documents- Ensure training documents and the department website are up-to-date.
• Updates training Documents and improves training structure.
• Improve Advance Shipping Notification.

About you

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of the automotive industry
• Basic project management experience preferred.
• Teamwork, self-initiative, proactive, assertiveness, and good communication skills.
• Ability to create reports, charts, and presentations with Office tools. (Good skills with Excel and PowerPoint).

• Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
• Have full-time status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
• Completed at least 30 credit hours at the time of application.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week).
• Transfer students must have a GPA from their current university.
• Must attach a copy of an unofficial transcript.
• Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term. 
• The work term dates are (January 13th - May 16th, 2025).
