Engage in dynamic supply chain planning at BMW, contributing to logistics and supplier decisions.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing medium to long-term supply chain processes and methods.
  • Collaborating with process partners in Packaging, Material Flow, and Transportation.
  • Supporting quarterly audits for supply concept adherence.
  • Enhancing efficiency and process optimizations.
  • Managing projects based on internship objectives.
  • Performing quantitative and qualitative evaluations.
  • Supporting Supply Chain monitoring and concept planning.
  • Developing and optimizing supply methods, including emergency strategies.
  • Coordinating and documenting review events for production halls.
  • Supporting the "Cardboard Free Assembly" project.
  • Implementing and optimizing Supply Chains for Direct Delivery Suppliers.
  • Evaluating logistical and financial impacts for product changes.
  • Mapping, analyzing, and evaluating process optimizations.
  • Observing and supporting innovations in logistics.

About You:

Candidates should possess:

  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Enrollment at an accredited four-year U.S. college or university.
  • Completion of at least 30 credit hours.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
  • A GPA from the current university for transfer students.
  • A Supply Chain Management or Business degree.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and self-initiative.
  • Experience with MS Office/Microsoft Excel (VLookup, Macros preferred).
  • Power BI experience preferred.
  • Must attach a copy of unofficial transcript.
  • Must complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
