Your role
Job Description:
Support onsite supplier logistics production to assure the supplier’s lineside delivery performance in series by using efficient problem-solving processes
The qualified Intern/Co-op should expect to contribute & Improve in the following functions:
Supplier requalification: support team with project management tasks including KPI reporting and status reports as well as 8D and FMEA.
Wrong delivery prevention: analyzing data from 8D and FMEA to derive concrete solutions to address main contributors.
LQS competency concept: support team with the development of i-Learn classes and tracking of training completion.
Reporting of KPI: conducts data processing in SAP. SQL, Power BI i.e. running weekly and daily reports. This may include data mining, creating and maintaining visualization tools, etc.
Supplier communication: support team with development
Maintained electronic team board as a key user.
About you
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have completed (or will be an upperclassman by credit hours) a degree in:
Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field with a GPA of 3.4 or above (Preferred)
Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills (Experience using Power BI, SQL, Data Lake, etc. Is a bonus)
Microsoft Excel (Experience with VLookup, Macros, etc. Preferred).
Detail Oriented
Organized
Effective communication skills.
