This intern will assist the sales and marketing team with various projects. These projects include (but are not limited to);

  • Playing a vital assisting role in attaining sales objectives.
  • Researching key sales data and providing analytical analysis, influencing their sales objectives and steering.
  • Support in implementing experiential marketing events, and new vehicle launch activities including BMW event activations, website reviews, dealer meeting PowerPoint deck preparations, and general support and shadowing of the Marketing team and Area Managers. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Varies depending on market needs at the time.
  • Regular reports from reviewing sales data to provide insights on various trends (e.g. MyBMW App adoption or Model Specific Build Research)
  • Review of Dealer websites for utilization of social assets
  • Bi-monthly preparation of dealer presentations to provide sales insights such as market share, etc.
  • Support experiential event implementation and provide recaps from events.

About you

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program at an accredited college or university.
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
  • Have completed at least 30 college credit hours at the time of application.
  • The field of study is Marketing, Business Administration, Management or Marketing Research.
  • Must attach a copy of the college's unofficial transcript.
  • Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week).
  • Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international J1 students only).
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, Collaborative, Strong Team Player.
  • Initiative and ability to work independently.

Compensation & benefits

The pay rate for undergraduate students will be $25.30 per hour.

Training, development & rotation

This is a full-time internship position for their Fall Rotation, from September 9, 2024, through December 20, 2024, in Santa Monica, CA.

During your internship, you will get broad supervision and regular feedback, so that you have the opportunity to develop your potential in the best possible way. Furthermore, you will not only get insights into different projects and working processes, but you will also self-evidently be a fully integrated team member.
