The Great Western Railway was one of the most famous companies to take part in this new ownership system, but their stock price slumped in 1849 to get out of the debacle, they turned to William Welch Deloitte, an independent public accountant, to audit.
As an Investment Banking Analyst Intern, you will work side by side with experienced and execution-focused investment bankers, as well as clients from a wide range of industries including consumer & retail, healthcare, business services, and global industries. With a focus on Mergers & Acquisitions (“M&A”), Deloitte's practice advises clients through critical stages of the transaction process and is intimately involved each step of the way. Even as an Intern, you can become a value-added deal team member offering meaningful contributions to the practice.
Responsibilities as an intern:
Deloitte's internship is structured as a 10-week program that kicks off with preparation from both leading Wall Street training organizations and practice-specific modules led by its professionals. These training modules will provide part of the foundation that will help you to succeed in your internship. Throughout the program, your leadership and talent professionals will also work to deliver engaging learning and networking opportunities and a variety of social activities to enhance your internship experience. Along the way, you’ll have access to mentoring, counseling, and training opportunities to help foster and accelerate your development of new skills and capabilities.
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $25 per hour.
