As a Cyber Analyst Intern, you will collaborate with diverse teams to develop and implement cyber solutions, addressing complex challenges to help clients achieve business goals and manage risk. Leveraging your expertise in Engineering, IT, and Business, you will design and execute cyber risk management programs that integrate strategy, risk, legal, and regulatory aspects. Your responsibilities may include:
Develop cyber programs in line with strategic objectives and risk appetite
Assess the full spectrum of cyber program capabilities to identify improvement opportunities
Deploy processes and technologies to address regulatory, privacy, and data management risks
Help manage online digital safety and trust to protect our communities and nation
Help to improve application security and apply controls to mitigate business risk
Provide end-to-end Cloud security solutions to enable secure digital transformation
Manage system and software vulnerabilities
Establish methods for securing connected or “smart” devices
Develop advanced cyber monitoring and security analytics solutions
Establish cyber crisis management capabilities and help organizations recover from damaging cyber attacks
Design and deliver business-focused cyber wargames to prepare our clients with advanced techniques for responding to continually evolving cyber attacks
Provide cyber forensics and incident response support
Support the Emerging Technology team with technical documentation, analysis, and reporting on cybersecurity risk in Manufacturing, Connected Products, and 5G
Support Deloitte's clients with their most pressing regulatory and operational challenges. Help them to identify, remediate, monitor, and manage enterprise risks and create value through implementing a compliant, resilient enterprise
Help Deloitte's clients to embrace their most strategic risks, provide a platform of advisory services that enable senior executives to plan for, spot, assess, manage, and respond to brand and reputational, financial, catastrophic risks and unforeseen threats that could undermine their competitive position and jeopardize their critical assets, reputation or financial standing
Assist Deloitte's clients with defining and implementing strategies to manage their Attack surface focusing on the continuous discovery, inventory, classification, and monitoring of an organization's IT infrastructure.
Engage with Deloitte's clients to measure, assess, and advise on ways they can reduce risk as it relates to the enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform
Regardless of project type, your work may require:
Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills essential to interacting with clients and teams
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/assignments/ responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills in support of both innovative and operational enhancement opportunities
Ability to collaborate and communicate with Deloitte team members and client stakeholders
Ability to identify, learn, understand, and implement new concepts, frameworks, and emerging technologies
Ability to manage own personal and professional development; seek opportunities for professional growth and expansion of consulting skills and experience
A strong understanding of Windows systems and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Required:
Bachelor or Master of Science/Business Administration with a concentration in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, information security, math, data analytics, informatics, decision sciences, risk management, engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial), or other business/technology disciplines
Strong academic track record with extracurricular activities (cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Their current work environment is a hybrid approach, which means:
You should reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily if required
You can expect to be co-located 30-50% with variations based on types of work/projects and client locations
Preferred:
Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above
Relevant work experience or work experience in a professional environment (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs)
Demonstrated recent leadership, such as in a campus club, society, sports teams or other activity
Demonstrated recent social impact or volunteer activity
The estimated annual pay for this role is $75,000 to $84000.
