In a role as a risk & financial advisory analyst specializing in Securitization at Deloitte, specific areas of work might include:

  • Perform loan file review and analytics of the underlying assets in a securitization transaction

  • Review transaction offering documents

  • Perform post-closing compliance testing

  • Interface with clients, attorneys, and other professionals within the organization and the fixed industry

  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills essential to interacting with clients and teams

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/assignments/ responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

About You

For this role, the most required qualifications are:

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a concentration in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, or Quantitative Finance.

  • You have a strong academic track record with extracurricular activities (cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above).

  • You are legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

  • You can travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

  • You are expected to work in a hybrid environment, which means you should reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily if required.

  • You will be co-located 30-50% of the time, with variations based on types of work/projects and client locations.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • You have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above.

  • You have exposure to computer programming languages such as VBA and Python, and industry system platforms such as Bloomberg, Intex, or TREPP.

  • You have relevant work experience or work experience in a professional environment (e.g., internships, summer positions, school jobs).

  • You have demonstrated recent leadership, such as in a campus club, society, sports teams, or other activities.

  • You have demonstrated recent social impact or volunteer activity.
