Strategic Analytics Analyst (Start ASAP)

Join Deloitte as a Strategic Analytics Analyst, applying financial and analytical skills to advise executive leaders.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

• Applying strategic thinking and hypothesis-based consulting to frame complex questions into analytical problems.
• Supporting Finance and firm leadership with ad-hoc specialized analyses.
• Supporting large, complex engagements for FP&A and Finance leaders, focusing on forward-looking operations and change management.
• Transforming data into useful information tailored to leadership needs through storyboarding and data visualization.
• Structuring modeling efforts that underpin strategic recommendations.
• Supporting key stakeholder groups to build cross-functional relationships across the organization.
• Tracking project progress through milestones and metrics.
• Developing executive-level presentations to communicate insights from analytics.
• Building supporting materials that assist leaders and stakeholders in the decision-making process.
• Supporting leaders in strategic activities and engaging in stretch opportunities aligned with professional development goals and strengths.

About You:

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Senior status (Spring 2025 expected graduation date) enrolled in a full-time academic program in Data Science, Data Analytics, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a related area.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a related area.
• Demonstrated knowledge in financial reporting and analysis, data analysis, management, and visualization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
• Ability to travel 0-10%, based on work and client needs.
• Experience with Tableau and Python is preferred.
• Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.2 preferred).
