About the business division:
The Corporate Bank is a market leader in risk management for FX and Rates, cash management, lending, trade finance, trust and agency services as well as securities services. At the heart of Corporate Bank sits Relationship and Transaction Management (RTM), pivotal in delivering the best-in-class client management solutions to our corporate and institutional clients worldwide. Relationship and Transaction Management partners with coverage,  product specialists, and other departments including legal, compliance, and Client Lifecycle Management to continually provide a seamless end-to-end banking experience to our clients.   It is a key client-facing function. 

Products Overview

• Cash Management: Delivers a wide range of payment and cash management-related products to corporates, non-bank financial institutions, and FinTechs.
• Trade Finance & Lending: Covers the full range of corporate lending solutions and provides solutions related to imports, exports, or domestic trade transactions.  Includes project finance and renewable finance solutions.
• Trust & Agency Services: Delivers a wide range of Agency and Fiduciary services to Capital Markets instruments and provides a full range of Depositary Bank services to global issuers, investors, and brokers.
• Securities Services: Partnering with clients along the securities trading/investment process.
• Risk Management: Market-leading FX and Rates risk management services for our corporate & institutional clients.
• Coverage: Our Coverage team manages the Corporate Bank’s key client relationships across the full suite of Corporate and Investment Bank products. 

Division specifics about the graduate role:

For the first several months of your employment, you’ll get hands-on experience in the Corporate Banking division.   Mid-year, you will join Graduates from APAC and take part in an invaluable induction that will give you a broad understanding of our business. Our senior leadership will share their vision for Deutsche Bank with you. After that, expect to benefit from two weeks of fast-paced and interactive technical and professional skills training that will begin your continuous learning journey within the program.   

You will work alongside, and learn from, exceptionally talented colleagues in a friendly, supportive culture where people are open and approachable.  A formal rotation program will give you an excellent oversight of the diverse range of roles in the business, as well as gain experience in the many products we use to solve problems for clients. 

The role requires an agile mindset and will give you exposure directly to our clients.   You’ll be working on our day-to-day business as well as on special projects and you will contribute to the innovation of new ideas to help our clients achieve their financial goals. There’s a range of work and clients that will enable you to make an early impact on what we do best – generating inventive, effective solutions for our clients.

We recruit highly intelligent graduates who are committed and adaptable. They have degrees in many different disciplines. Even though good levels of numeracy are important for some roles, you won’t necessarily need a formal mathematical or financial background.

The Corporate Bank Graduate Program is open to anyone with up to two years post-Graduate experience.
