Accountant Intern (Aug 2024)

We are looking for 2 Interns who are looking to gain experience working in an Accounting firm.

This is an unpaid role, it would suit someone who would like to gain the experience of working for a Taxation firm, who is looking to gain the experience hours in processing Tax Returns, BAS and other office duties to satisfy your Tax Practitioners program required hours or other required placement hours at a Accounting Firm.

The potential is there for candidates to earn commissions, this will be negotiated with the right candidate after 3 months. Hours will be flexible to suit your other work or study commitments, we don't have set hours, you can negotiate your needs and we will cater to suit yours.

This will be an excellent opportunity for you to gain experience, there will be days where you can meet clients, take full control, whilst you learn how to be a Accountant out on the field. We will guide you, help you understand how to deal with transactions beyond what you learn from your studies.

The minimum requirement is that you must have a Diploma in Accounting, you must understand the basics of Bookkeeping, Profits and Loss, Balance sheets, you should be able to use Excel, the rest we will teach you.

We can offer one day roles as well, with preference for 2 days per week.
