To apply for our Graduate Programme, you are required to be:
- Identify as Māori
- In the final year of your degree OR as a graduate, within 24 months from your graduation date at the time of application.
- Be a New Zealand or Australian citizen or a New Zealand permanent resident. If you’re an international student, visit our website to view our international student criteria to determine eligibility before applying.
We ask that you only submit one application for your preferred location and business area.

- Once we’ve reviewed your application in its entirety, you may be invited to a Recruitment Day

Pros
Everyone is really friendly and there is a lot of support provided to us especially for someone just starting out.
The flexibility and support you get in between projects.
We did a training week at the start which is standard. Most impressed with our online learnings platform.
There is absolute transparency over future prospects.
Good workplace culture of inclusion, fair management, good amount of social events organised by EY.
Cons
Hours and overtime.
Working at a big firm who hires the best of the best I can't help but feel imposter syndrome regularly.
Bonuses are non-existent. Pay feels far too little for the work we do.
Work demand varies which can make it hard when your top priority is to be on chargeable work and you cannot get on it
I feel there has been little training, and in the wrong areas.
