Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying potential audit issues or unusual relationships in financial statements with detailed analytical trend analysis.
  • Consulting with clients on commodity markets topics such as audit of commodity transactions, derivatives technical accounting, and valuation.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients to provide reliable services.
  • Building relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines for seamless integrated service.
  • Demonstrating professionalism in clients’ environments and providing exceptional service.
  • Operating effectively in a regulated environment, focusing on protecting capital markets and the investing public.

About You:

Candidates should have:

  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
  • Met the minimal educational requirements for CPA licensure in your work state and a plan for passing the CPA exam.
  • Willingness to work beyond standard hours and travel as needed.
  • Understanding or interest in commodity markets, financial instruments, and regulations.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Excellent analytical and technical presentation skills.
  • Ability to write technically in a regulated environment.
  • Passion for client-focus and professionalism in managing sensitive client relationships.
  • A highly collaborative approach to work.
  • Access to reliable transportation; a driver’s license is recommended.
  • A strong academic record relevant to the position.

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range in the US is $78,500 - $92,000, based on education, location, and market data. The Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and various paid time off options. Flexible vacation policy and designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence are provided.
