Your role
Your key responsibilities:
Consulting with clients on complex commodities risk, asset and derivative valuations.
Collaborating with partners, senior managers and clients to influence strategy around commodity markets, balancing risk and client expectations.
Ensuring their Engagement team thoroughly understands their client’s unique needs, ambitions and expectations.
Building relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamless integrated service.
Managing performance and identifying opportunities to improve their products and processes.
About you
Job requirements and preferences:
Have or be working toward a bachelor's degree in Accounting (must be CPA track), Finance, Economics, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or related subjects.
An understanding or interest in commodity markets, financial instruments, and regulations
Preferred qualifications:
An understanding or interest in financial modeling, and valuations of power and natural gas assets.
Excellent analytical and technical presentation skills, to communicate complex ideas clearly to clients in a range of fields.
The ability to write technically in a heavily regulated environment.
A passion for client focus and professionalism for managing sensitive client relationships.
A highly collaborative approach to work.
The ability and willingness to travel and work more than standard hours when necessary.
Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride-share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.
Compensation & benefits
The hourly pay for this role at this company ranges from $37.74 - $44.23.
