Your role

The Team:

  • The Foundry is a New York-based team of entrepreneurs, product managers, operators, and strategists who have a proven track record of turning ideas into successful new-growth businesses.
  • In April 2016, EY acquired this team out of Highnote Foundry, a venture capital and venture services firm, in order to build and launch new businesses for EY Americas Tax.

What you will do:

They're looking for versatile team members to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, which currently includes:

  • A web-based platform connecting clients with EY professionals for short-term assignments.
  • A digital overhaul of the EY Employee Financial Services practice.
  • Integration of TaxChat, an on-demand mobile tax preparation service.

As a member of their team, you may be involved in:

  • Conducting thorough research and financial analysis to evaluate new opportunities.
  • Crafting market and growth strategies based on research.
  • Developing financial projections and business models.
  • Designing and promoting digital products and services.
  • Creating user personas, and stories, and conducting user research to guide product development.

About you

Required Qualifications:

  • A predicted undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; supported by a strong academic record.
  • Superior project management, interpersonal, communication, teaming, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Based in New York City or willing to relocate to the New York City area.
  • The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
  • Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride-share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A graduate degree with a focus in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • An understanding of the agile framework.
  • Knowledge of SQL.

Compensation & benefits

The hourly pay range for this job is $48.08.
