Your role

What you will do:

  • As a Transfer Pricing Intern, you will have significant involvement in all stages of the transfer pricing lifecycle, offering a high-profile opportunity to assume diverse responsibilities and expand your skills and expertise.
  • Your primary focus will be to analyze and interpret information from a variety of sources, providing both quantitative and qualitative insights to inform and advise their clients.
  • This will include building strong relationships with clients across a broad spectrum of industries and understanding their specific requirements and goals in order to deliver customized global services that meet their unique needs.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding of the US Transfer Pricing regulations and OECD Guidelines to advise clients in decision-making.
  • Understanding transfer pricing concepts and economic/financial knowledge to resolve client challenges.
  • Support in modeling financial outcomes, valuing intangible assets, and developing practical planning approaches.
  • Support in working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools.
  • Utilizing tax research databases and other tax-related tools in the completion of assigned tasks.
  • Liaising with onshore and global transfer pricing professionals to drive collaboration.

About you

Required Qualifications:

  • A predicted undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, Management, or another relevant field of study.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPivot, Power Query, PowerPoint, PowerBi, Alteryx, and Word.
  • The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
  • Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride-share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Progress towards a Masters, Ph D, JD, or LL.M. in Taxation.

Compensation & benefits

The hourly pay range for this job is $31.25 - $40.87.
