Support IKEA's Food Purchasing Team in Shanghai with translation and supplier management tasks.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Support translating IKEA requirements from English to Japanese.
- Assist the Food Purchasing Team with purchasing, logistics, quality, and engineering tasks.
- Assist in data collection and analysis, such as product specifications.
- Support supplier management.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent Japanese skills (N1 level preferred) and ability to translate between Japanese and English.
- Availability to work approximately 3-4 days per week for at least 6 months.
- No specific education requirement, but senior grade in a master's program is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, structured, analytical, quick learner, and proactive attitude.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); system experience is preferred.
