Join the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) group at J.P. Morgan as a Summer Analyst in their 2025 Commercial Real Estate Programs. They offer financial solutions across all major real estate asset types and work with a diverse range of clients.

  • Real Estate Banking – Delivers commercial real estate and banking products to national and regional real estate developers, investors, Real Estate Operating Companies (REOCs), Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), and opportunity and investment funds working alongside REB Bankers, Underwriters, and Treasury Services Payments partners.
  • Community Development Banking  – Provides financial solutions that support the growth of affordable housing and revitalization of low-and moderate-income communities across the U.S. working alongside CDB Bankers, Underwriters, and Treasury Services Payments partners.
  • Agency Lending - is an Agency lender, providing term lending solutions to Multifamily borrowers through Fannie Mae's Delegated Underwriting and Servicing Platform. The agency provides additional CRE lending products that effectively match investor capital with borrower needs, including Freddie Mac and other CRE financing tools. The Agency product line is designed to meet CRE borrower needs and meet firm-wide objectives (affordable housing, balance sheet liquidity, etc.) by working alongside Agency Bankers and Screeners. 
  • Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries Real Estate Risk - Analyzes credit risks within transactions for REITs (public and non-traded), REOCs, real estate developers, real estate investors, and real estate funds. Manages risk associated with live transactions as well as the existing portfolio alongside CCBSI Real Estate bankers, credit bankers, and portfolio management. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Working on financial models to support financing transactions
  • Assisting in the completion of credit approval memos
  • Preparing marketing materials for use in client meetings covering topics such as financing alternatives and industry trends & analysis
  • Developing an understanding of J.P. Morgan products and service offerings

About You

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Coursework in real estate, finance, accounting, or economics a plus
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

  • Enrolled in good standing at an accredited university in the U.S.

Training & Development

As a Summer Analyst, you'll undergo a 9-week internship, starting with a week of orientation and training. You'll then spend 8 weeks in one of their four CRE sub-lines of business, gaining hands-on experience and networking opportunities. Additionally, as a 2025 Commercial Real Estate Summer Analyst within the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) group at J.P. Morgan, you will gain hands-on exposure to your sub-line of business by working directly with team members, participating in projects, and learning about the types of clients your team works with. You will have opportunities to network with peers, work with colleagues and senior managers, and participate in training opportunities to sharpen your skills. This role provides a unique opportunity to develop a strong foundation of analytical skills across a range of asset classes needed for a successful career in Commercial Real Estate.

Successful completion of the internship may lead to an offer to join their full-time Analyst Program, providing you with a strong foundation of analytical skills for a successful career in Commercial Real Estate.
