Your role

The Tax Team

In KPMG’s Tax practice, your skills, tact, and knowledge can make a difference to your client's business strategy and ultimately, their bottom line. You’ll work with clients to identify tax-planning opportunities and meet their tax compliance requirements. You will have the opportunity to work with one of the many teams within their Tax Practice, which could include:

Canadian tax

Canadian companies and individuals must deal with numerous government authorities and frequent changes to tax laws and regulations. Canadian tax professionals assist businesses and individuals in understanding how to respond to these changes effectively. 

US Corporate tax

US Tax practice assists organizations i) in deciding which business structure will be the most effective from a US tax perspective – subsidiary, branch, or joint-venture partnership when dealing with cross-border expansions or in deciding the most tax-efficient investment sleeve to invest in for those clients investing in Asset Management funds; ii) in choosing tax effective methods of capitalization, financing, and repatriation; iii) with their US tax provision and/or compliance requirements.
