Tax Transformation & Technology - Technical Consultant Summer Internship (May 2026)

Join KPMG's Tax Transformation team as a Technical Consultant Intern, leveraging technology to enhance tax processes.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

• Applying business, accounting, and finance acumen to solve client problems.
• Building technology solutions for clients and assisting with tax consulting deliverables.
• Supporting the delivery of tax transformation projects using various technologies.
• Developing custom solutions and ongoing product development.
• Identifying opportunities to improve tax operating models and implementing tax technology.
• Collaborating with managers to propose new solutions for clients.
• Participating in design sessions with business, clients, and team.
• Working primarily with Microsoft technologies like Excel/VBA, PowerQuery, PowerAutomate, SharePoint, and Microsoft SQL Server.

About You:

Candidates should have:

• A degree in Business Administration, Financial Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar fields.
• Strong technology and consulting skills.
• Interest in finance, accounting, tax, innovation, and process improvement.
• Experience with Excel/VBA and other Microsoft technologies.
• Problem-solving skills using business acumen and technology.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with a team-first mentality.
• Strong time-management, self-motivation, and ownership abilities.
• Previous experience in business roles or accounting firms is an asset.
