Join KPMG's Tax Transformation team as a Technical Consultant Intern, leveraging technology to enhance tax processes.
Your Role:
Key responsibilities include:
- Applying business, accounting, and finance acumen to solve client problems.
- Building technology solutions for clients and assisting with tax consulting deliverables.
- Supporting the delivery of tax transformation projects using various technologies.
- Developing custom solutions and ongoing product development.
- Identifying opportunities to improve tax operating models and implementing tax technology.
- Collaborating with managers to propose new solutions for clients.
- Participating in design sessions with business, clients, and team.
- Working primarily with Microsoft technologies like Excel/VBA, PowerQuery, PowerAutomate, SharePoint, and Microsoft SQL Server.
About You:
Candidates should have:
- A degree in Business Administration, Financial Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar fields.
- Strong technology and consulting skills.
- Interest in finance, accounting, tax, innovation, and process improvement.
- Experience with Excel/VBA and other Microsoft technologies.
- Problem-solving skills using business acumen and technology.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with a team-first mentality.
- Strong time-management, self-motivation, and ownership abilities.
- Previous experience in business roles or accounting firms is an asset.
