Join KPMG's Valuations team in Toronto as an intern, assisting in financial instrument valuation and client deliverables.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in preparing valuation assignments for transactions and financial reporting.
  • Conducting economic, industry, company, and financial product research.
  • Utilizing methodologies to value financial instruments and prepare analysis.
  • Preparing reports and memorandums documenting valuation methodologies.
  • Collaborating with team members to complete client deliverables.
  • Working with other practice areas like business valuations, data analytics, and financial risk management.

About You

Candidates should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • Current or planned pursuit of a professional designation (e.g., CPA, CFA, CBV, FRM).
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interest in financial instruments and markets.
  • Ability to think creatively and critically.
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to work in a diverse team.
