Your Role:

Key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Work within a team to conduct financial statement audits, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of client financial information.
  • Contribute to client operations' effectiveness while maintaining professional integrity.
  • Develop an understanding of client-specific risks through financial reviews and business trend analysis.
  • Prepare clear audit documentation on client processes and technology systems.
  • Execute and document testing of client controls and financial statement balances.
  • Support high-quality audit execution and engage professionally with clients and team members.
  • Utilize Data and Analytics tools, including AI, Excel, Alteryx, SQL, Python, and Power BI, for audit procedures.

About You:

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Enrollment in an accredited college or university, pursuing a Bachelor or Master of Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Educational progress towards CPA licensure in the principal business location.
  • A preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Coursework or experience in information systems, software engineering, computer science, or data analytics.
  • Knowledge of technical accounting, financial reporting standards, and GAAP.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and ability to learn KPMG Audit tools.
  • Strong communication, time management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Residency within a commutable distance to the office and ability to travel as needed.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
