Your Role:

Key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Conduct financial statement audits, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Maintain objectivity and independence in client financial information.
  • Develop an understanding of client-specific risks and business trends.
  • Prepare clear audit documentation on client processes and systems.
  • Execute and document testing of client controls and account balances.
  • Support high-quality audits through professional interactions.
  • Utilize Data and Analytics tools like AI, Excel, Alteryx, SQL, Python, and Power BI.

About You:

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Enrollment in an accredited college or university, pursuing a Bachelor or Master of Accountancy.
  • Educational requirements for CPA licensure in the principal place of business.
  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish.
  • Coursework or experience in information systems, software engineering, or data analytics.
  • Knowledge of technical accounting and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and ability to learn KPMG tools.
  • Strong communication, time management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in person at a KPMG office or client site three days per week.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
