Your Role:
Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Conduct financial statement audits, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Maintain objectivity and independence in client financial information.
- Develop an understanding of client-specific risks and business trends.
- Prepare clear audit documentation on client processes and systems.
- Execute and document testing of client controls and account balances.
- Support high-quality audits through professional interactions.
- Utilize Data and Analytics tools like AI, Excel, Alteryx, SQL, Python, and Power BI.
About You:
Ideal candidates will have:
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university, pursuing a Bachelor or Master of Accountancy.
- Educational requirements for CPA licensure in the principal place of business.
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish.
- Coursework or experience in information systems, software engineering, or data analytics.
- Knowledge of technical accounting and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and ability to learn KPMG tools.
- Strong communication, time management, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in person at a KPMG office or client site three days per week.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
