Your Role:

Key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Perform tax-related tasks for partnerships, corporations, and S-corporations.
  • Engage in data analytics assignments using KPMG's technology.
  • Create tax return work papers and tax returns for corporate clients.
  • Coordinate offshore resources.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to maintain excellent client relationships.
  • Stay updated on current tax practices.
  • Build capabilities in key technologies like AI, Alteryx, and Power BI.

About You:

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Enrollment in an accredited college or university, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in business, accounting, finance, taxation, mathematics, economics, IT, data and analytics, or engineering.
  • Preferred studies in Accounting and Taxation.
  • Progress towards CPA licensure in the principal place of business.
  • A GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Coursework or minor in information systems, software engineering, computer science, or data and analytics.
  • Strong service mindset, technical aptitude, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to learn and navigate technologies like AI, Alteryx, and Power BI.
  • Residency within a commutable distance to the office and ability to travel as needed.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
