Business Tax Services Tax Winter Intern (Dec 2026)

Join KPMG as a Tax Intern in Business Tax Services, working with a dynamic team to deliver innovative tax solutions.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing tax-related tasks involving tax compliance for various clients, including partnerships and corporations.
• Participating in data analytics assignments using KPMG's technology.
• Creating tax return work papers and tax returns for corporate clients.
• Coordinating offshore resources.
• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop and sustain excellent client relationships.
• Keeping up to date on current tax practices.
• Building capabilities in key technologies like AI, Alteryx, and Power BI.

About You:

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Enrollment in an accredited college or university, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in business, accounting, finance, taxation, mathematics, economics, IT, data and analytics, or engineering.
• Preferred degrees in Accounting and Taxation.
• Pursuing educational requirements for CPA licensure.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Coursework or minor in information systems, software engineering, computer science, or data and analytics preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills, and proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to learn and navigate technologies like AI, Alteryx, and Power BI.
• Must reside within a commutable distance to the office and be able to travel as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
