Your Role:
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing tax-related tasks involving tax compliance for various clients, including partnerships and corporations.
- Participating in data analytics assignments using KPMG's technology.
- Creating tax return work papers and tax returns for corporate clients.
- Coordinating offshore resources.
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop and sustain excellent client relationships.
- Keeping up to date on current tax practices.
- Building capabilities in key technologies like AI, Alteryx, and Power BI.
About You:
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in business, accounting, finance, taxation, mathematics, economics, IT, data and analytics, or engineering.
- Preferred degrees in Accounting and Taxation.
- Pursuing educational requirements for CPA licensure.
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Coursework or minor in information systems, software engineering, computer science, or data and analytics preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills, and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to learn and navigate technologies like AI, Alteryx, and Power BI.
- Must reside within a commutable distance to the office and be able to travel as needed.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
