Your Role:
Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Rotate through audit, tax, and advisory departments to understand client services.
- Support engagement teams with audit methodology, data analysis, and tax tasks.
- Assist in creating work paper files, preparing client reports, and organizing business activities.
- Identify engagement capabilities, review client materials, and propose analysis execution.
- Utilize various technologies and analytics tools.
- Contribute to the integrity and transparency of financial information.
About You:
Candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Accountancy, Taxation, or related fields.
- Intention to obtain a CPA is preferred for accounting majors.
- Completion of at least one semester of coursework at the time of application.
- At least three additional semesters are required after the internship for degree completion or CPA eligibility.
- Preferred GPA of 3.00 or above.
- Open to students from underrepresented racial and ethnic minority groups.
- Demonstrates commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Prior participation in KPMG or other leadership programs is preferred.
- Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
- Must reside within a commutable distance to the office and be able to travel as needed.
- Must be 18 years or older by June 1, 2025, and authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
